PCSSD Fine Arts teachers are committed to sharing their craft and passing along their knowledge and art to others. MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES HIGH is proud to offer a variety of fine arts programs, including forensics. Mr. Patrick Laxson does an incredible job working with our students to enhance their speech and debate skills.


Last week students from Mr. Trentacosta's AVID II class visited Arkadelphia for a college tour. Students had the chance to visit Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. It's important to expose to students to a variety of collegiate options and they learn so much on these visits!











Students in Dr. Franco's Spanish class spent a month participating in a variety of activities for Hispanic Heritage month. Now, students are gearing up for Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead) which is celebrated on November 1 - 2.

Students in Coach Lee's Freshman Seminar class had the opportunity to hear from special guests on Monday. Representatives from the media visited the class to talk about careers in journalism. Special thanks Caitrin Assaf, Steven Goodale and Laura Monteverdi from KARK for coming out to speak to our students. It was a great experience!
