It was an exciting morning at Chenal Elementary! The Arkansas Secretary of Education, Jacob Oliva, and members from DESE stopped by to congratulate us on being named as a high performing school. The group visited several classrooms including Mrs. Heffington - who received a special gift basket - and Mrs. Wilcoxon - a teacher of the year finalist - for being two of the best teachers in the entire state! It's a great day to be a Gator!
