Parents, This is a reminder that the direction for arrival and dismissal traffic should still enter from South Verona. We understand that it takes a longer period of time but until we receive clearance from the street construction crew, there is one entrance and exit we are using at this time. We need are collecting recycled items for some really neat Art and Music projects. Would you help us out by sending recycled items? Here is a list of what we are looking for. You may begin sending items as soon as possible. Round Oatmeal canisters unused aluminum foil Shoe boxes pringles type canisters Cereal boxes string Paper towel rolls corks Bottle caps craft wire Old buttons Empty matchboxes ( the little ones that slide out ) Pringles cans (big or small) Jewelry boxes Rubber bands Ribbon or yarn that is not being used Unused paper plates Altoid Tins Round candy containers (ice breakers )

Students 12 and up are invited to submit artwork as part of a contest to be featured on the next edition of the Arkansas Northern Bobwhite Conservation Stamp. Entries should be submitted by Feb. 20. Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a civil rights leader who participated in and led marches for blacks' right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.
