4th graders read "Ice Cream Summer" with deputy superintendent, Dr. Alesia Smith. During the discussion afterwards, students were given an ice cream recipe, supplies and instructions on how to complete the recipe use their math skills. What a fun (and tasty) way to practice your math skills in real life?!
As COVID-19 precautions continue to evolve, PCSSD maintains its dedication to following guidelines as recommended by the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health. Therefore, beginning Monday, March 7, all schools will resume normal visitor policy procedures.

Ms. Racop’s Kindergarten class did I “can” projects to celebrate Black History Month. Students picked an African American to research and completed a can designed as their person. They wrote facts to put inside the can and presented them to the class. How creative!

PCSSD will have a 2 hour delay start on Friday, February 25. Since school will begin 2 hours later than the normal start time, all bus pick up times will be exactly 2 hours later than normal. Dismissal times remain the same for tomorrow. Breakfast will not be served, only lunch.
