OAKBROOKE life skill students explored the world for Ms. Slayton’s favorite thing. “We learned about Holidays Around the World! In Mexico, they celebrate Las Posadas in December. One tradition is to break a piñata filled with candy and toys. ¡Feliz Navidad!” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Belin of SYLVAN HILLS ELEMENTARY shared a favorite thing of historical proportions. “3rd Grade TREK students researched famous people for their wax museum. Visitors dropped in coins to make them speak & coins were used to buy gifts for a child in need.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Riordan shared her favorite thing at MILLS MIDDLE. “Our 8th graders took a field trip to Plum Bayou Archeological State Park & the Plantation Agriculture Museum. This experience deepened their understanding of historical people who shaped the state.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Shettles-Tull's favorite thing was a special delivery for COLLEGE STATION. “Our 2nd-4th graders created holiday cards for schools in each state, and we have received fun, fact-filled cards back from all 49 other states! We enjoyed the cards coming in!” #pcssdproud #serveall

Mr. Staswick’s favorite thing highlights BAKER’s economics focus. “My class created a business with the goal of turning a profit and doing good. Students made a custom brand and a BOGO model that was incredibly profitable. So far, they've donated 58 hats!” #pcssdproud #serveall
