SYLVAN HILLS JUNIOR HIGH's Ms. Turner shared a favorite thing from her Medical Detectives course. “A highlight of our nervous system study is a dissection of a sheep brain. Students enjoyed the up close experience.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Coleman at WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON ELEMENTARY shared a community-focused favorite thing. “Led by the student leadership team, students collected items for the unsheltered community. The donation box was presented to Arkansas Community Advocates.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. George from CRYSTAL HILL ELEMENTARY shared a writing project as her favorite thing. “Students completed an informational writing assignment. We studied different habitats and they chose one to write about and illustrate.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Miller shared a festive favorite thing for her SYLVAN HILLS JUNIOR students. “The Spanish Club participated in the Sherwood Christmas Parade. Students showcased their creativity with signs wishing everyone a 'Feliz Navidad' and festive songs in Spanish.” #pcssdproud #serveall

ROBINSON MIDDLE’s Ms. Ziller shared a creative writing assignment as her favorite thing. “Students grew so attached to characters in 'The Outsiders' that we had a funeral for Johnny Cade. Students wrote eulogies to honor his loyalty, bravery & kindness.” #pcssdproud #serveall

LANDMARK’s Ms. Purtle shared a Hispanic Heritage Month project as her favorite thing. “Students shared family trees and customs. Some decided to take it a step further and on their own time, published a book all about their family.” #pcssdproud #serveall

SHERWOOD’s Ms. LeVar shared an inspiring favorite thing. “We read 'Beautiful Oops' by Barney Saltzberg and learned the importance of finding ways to turn mistakes into something beautiful. Students created collages with mixed media and a lot of imagination.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Tucker of MILLS MIDDLE shared a favorite thing that was all about growing grammar skills. “Students were given a list of 25 sentences. They were grouped in pairs. The students had to list the nouns and verbs on the anchor sheet paper.” #pcssdproud #serveall

Ms. Harris was bursting with excitement about her favorite thing at COLLEGE STATION. “I loved the Thanksgiving Day parade! Families’ floats had to roll and contain at least one balloon.” #pcssdproud #serveall

MAUMELLE MIDDLE’s Ms. Babberl shared a favorite thing that highlights the impact of speech. “We divided rice into 2 jars and a bag. We labeled one jar LOVE and one HATE. We spoke to the rice accordingly and the results were amazing!” #pcssdproud #serveall
