Stephen Delaney is our newest board member. He attended Mills High School, Fuller Junior High, Jacksonville Elementary & College Station Elementary. In his spare time he volunteers with the Junior League and AR Kids Read.

We're about halfway through the school science fair season leading up to the annual district science fair on February 7. There's still time to check out the school projects. Here are the remaining school science fairs over the next two weeks.

Mills High School invites all in the Mills Feeder to a "Night of Edutainment" tonight (Tuesday, January 21) at 6pm. There will be workshops for both students and parents. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

Shelby Thoma and his wife, Leigh, have been married 25 years and 4 children: Simone-24, Nathan-23, Amelia- 20, and Novi-3. His favorite hobby is running and he also enjoys spending time with his youth group.

Listen up football fans! Former MAUMELLE HIGH SCHOOL football star Kendall Donnerson will be coming home for a special recognition on Friday, January 24. MAUMELLE HS will be retiring his jersey between the boys and girls basketball games.

Maumelle Middle and Maumelle High schools recently lost power due to an outage in the area. Both schools will dismiss at 1:30 pm today. Buses will depart the schools at 1:30pm; car riders can be picked up at this time as well.
Brian Maune and his wife, Jennifer, have been married nearly 14 years. They have 5 kids and another due in May! Brian's hobbies include family travel and outdoors activities like hunting, fishing and camping.

Due to a power outage in the area, Sylvan Hills NORTH campus and Cato Elementary will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. today. Buses riders will depart at 11:30 and car riders can be picked up at this time. This will be an AMI day.

BAKER ELEMENTARY's 5th Grade Art Club is working on projects for the International Fiber Collaborative to display at various parks and monuments across the nation. This painting will be exhibited at the "George Washington Birthplace National Monument" January 1- May 31, 2020.
Tina Renee Ward has two daughters, Ti'Naya and Daraleisha, and two grandkids, Kobe and August. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, road trips and bargain shopping!

We're so proud of students across our district. Check out MAUMELLE HIGH SCHOOL senior, Ember Reynolds, getting some recognition for her hard work and commitment at The Weekend Theater. She'll make her debut in "Good Kids" tomorrow (January 10)

Dr. Linda Remele has been married to her husband, Steve, for 22 years She has one son, Jonathan, and a stepson, Brent, as well as 2 grandchildren and 4 rescue cats. Dr. Remele loves to volunteer and travel outside the U.S. She also loves to read, particularly travel novels.

School choice is officially open for PCSSD. Applications will be accepted at Central Office (925 E. Dixon Road), Monday - Friday between 8:30 am - 4:00pm. Stop by to fill out your application before spots fill up!
