Pulaski County Youth Services taught a Dental Hygiene lesson to students at DAISY BATES ELEMENTARY including how toothpaste helps keep teeth healthy, proper flossing, and the use of mouthwash. Students even learned to make their own toothpaste! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

In honor of last week's (May 6) School Lunch Hero Day, our student nutrition partners Chartwells K12 hosted a #HatsOfftoOurHeroes tribute. Each lunch hero received a special hat and each elementary school received a special donation. Schools received copies of a book from the "Lunch Lady" book series! #pcssdproud #equityandexcelelnce

MILLS MIDDLE hosted its inaugural college fair yesterday. AVID students created presentation boards to showcase different types of colleges and universities. It was a great project to research, practice group work and improve presentation skills. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
