PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Eight Pulaski County Special School District students earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These programs celebrate students’ hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance.

  • Nia Evans - Sylvan Hills High - National African American Recognition Award

  • Eric Frank - Maumelle High - National Rural and Small Town Award

  • Ava Hannah - Joe T. Robinson High - National African American Recognition Award

  • Terrion Hughes - Sylvan Hills High - National African American Recognition Award

  • Calleigh Kemp - Maumelle High - National Rural and Small Town Award

  • Angel Martinez - Mills University Studies High - National Hispanic Recognition Award

  • Austin Mosby - Maumelle High - National Rural and Small Town Award

In order to be eligible for this recognition, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA, have national assessment scores in the top 10% of assessment takers in the state, and attend school in a rural area or small town, or be African American/Black, Hispanic American/Latino, or Indigenous/Native American.
