The 3rd grade team at CRYSTAL HILL ELEMENTARY implemented a 3rd Grade Boot Camp. Each teacher is a "Skill Sergeant" and provides students with skill based choice board activities for math and literacy. The skills were connected to individual and class deficit areas. November is Native American Heritage Month. The U.S. government recognizes nearly 600 Indian tribes in the contiguous 48 states and Alaska. Several rituals are tribe specific, but some cross tribe boundaries, including pow wows, the stomp dance, and drum circles.
