PCSSD will host a special board meeting on Monday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the boardroom at Central Office (925 E. Dixon Road). SHERWOOD ELEMENTARY first graders are learning to *make change.* Students were able to shop in their class store, and had to count the correct amount of money to purchase their desired item. With lots of dedication, this activity was a success! 💸 #pcssdproud #serveall

Our secondary students voted on head-to-head matchups between eight potential new dipping sauces for their cafes during a month long Sauce Madness competition. Cane’s Copycat Sauce crushed Jerk Mango BBQ in the championship round, receiving 92% of the vote. #pcssdproud #serveall

Our 9th-grade AVID students at SYLVAN HILLS JUNIOR HIGH toured Philander Smith University. Students explored the dorm, Greek Yard, health building, and impressive mini-hospital. Meeting campus leaders and learning about outstanding programs were highlights. #pcssdproud #serveall

10th grade MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES English students demonstrated what they know about point of view. After reading a text, the students determined if it was first or third person & whether it was limited or omniscient. Great testing prep AND instruction! #pcssdproud #serveall
