LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Sylvan Hills High School senior Morgan Perry has been selected to serve as the April 2026 Student Board Member for the Pulaski County Special School District. She sat alongside PCSSD School Board members during the April 14 meeting.

Perry is an academically accomplished student and an active leader in multiple school and community organizations. She currently serves as president of the Sylvan Hills DECA chapter, where she recently earned first place at the Arkansas State DECA Competition for the second consecutive year and was one of two Arkansas Association for Marketing Education scholarship recipients at the event. Her performance qualified her to represent Arkansas at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta this month.

Perry is a four‑year member of the Student Council and serves on the Senior Executive Team. She is also involved in Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club and the National Honor Society. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and is ranked third in her graduating class.

Her involvement extends beyond the classroom. Perry serves as an ambassador for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Academy of Business, where she has participated in professional development experiences, including job shadowing the hospital’s CEO and executive leadership team. She has also been selected as a member of the Sherwood Mayor’s Youth Council and as a Sherwood Chamber of Commerce Junior Ambassador.

In addition to her academic and leadership roles, Perry is an entrepreneur. After attending Arkansas Fashion School, she launched her own fashion design business, M.E. Marie, in 2022. She designs and produces custom garments and ready‑to‑wear apparel for clients while continuing to grow her brand.

After graduation, Perry plans to pursue a degree in finance with the goal of combining business, entrepreneurship and leadership to create opportunities for others and support her community.
