LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Joe T. Robinson High School Athletic Director Todd Eskola has been selected as the 2024–2025 NFHS Section 6 Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. The National Federation of State High School Associations presents this honor annually to recognize outstanding coaches across Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Eskola led the Robinson Senators Girls Soccer Team to the 2025 4A state championship. The Robinson Boys Soccer Team also secured the 2025 4A state championship, adding to a historic year for the school’s soccer programs.
The Lady Senators finished the season with a dominant 19–1–1 record, recording 16 shutouts along the way. They dominated on both sides of the ball, outscoring opponents 11-1, scoring 105 goals while allowing only 9.
The Arkansas Activities Association nominated Eskola for his leadership, program development, and long-standing commitment to student-athletes.
Eskola's history with Senator sports goes back to when he was a ball boy for the Robinson Football program. His 50-year connection includes decades of mentorship under his father, longtime coach Jim Eskola, two decades as head coach and two state football championships in 2019 and 2021.
In addition to coaching, Eskola serves as Joe T. Robinson High School’s DRIVEN program lead and an AP Calculus teacher.
