PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The Mills University Studies High School (MUSHS) Comets continue to blaze a trail of excellence, with first‑place finishes at every grade level in the Arkansas Art Educators Central Region Art Show.

Daniel Miranda – 1st Place, 10th Grade (still life in charcoal)
Eduardo Rodriguez‑Garcia – 2nd Place, 10th Grade (self‑portrait in pencil)
Eric Jaime – 3rd Place, 10th Grade (still life in charcoal)
Sidney Leeper – 1st Place, 11th Grade (self‑portrait in pencil)
Alyson Tinsley – 1st Place, 12th Grade (still life in charcoal)
Hayden McNutt – 3rd Place, 12th Grade (goldfish in watercolor)
Art teachers Mr. Bean and Ms. Young submitted the stellar works that competed against other student artwork from the Arkansas Art Educators (AAE) Central Region, which includes Pulaski, Faulkner, Saline, Lonoke, Grant, and Perry Counties.
Winning pieces from the Central Region will be on display from June to August at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and Learning Center in Little Rock. The annual State Art Show will be held there on June 14.
