Damian Patterson received his undergraduate degree from Philander Smith College in Elementary Education and his Graduate degree from UALR in Education Administration and Supervision. He has been a K-12 educator and administrator in the Little Rock metro area for 25 years. Mr. Patterson has been an Assistant Principal in the Pulaski County Special School District since 2013 at Maumelle Middle School, Mills University Studies High School, and Joe T. Robinson High School. Prior to becoming an Administrator, he spent 14 years as a K-12 teacher in Mathematics and Science and has previously held the position of Head Football and Basketball coach for many years.
As a forward-thinking visionary and educational leader, he is committed to excellence, student and parent engagement, positive behavior intervention, inclusive learning, and school improvement initiatives. His educational philosophy is based on his uncompromising belief that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, and commitment to collective teacher efficacy.
