Sylvan Hills Junior High was randomly selected as the secondary-school winner in the District's attendance challenge last month. SHJHS had 3/4 weeks in September with 95% attendance or higher.
We celebrated on Monday with sno-cones for the ENTIRE school - students and staff! It was such a fun way to reward our scholars for their dedication to being a H.E.RO. (here-everyday-ready-on time). Let's keep the momentum going!

September was Attendance Awareness Month and we challenged all students to be a H.E.R.O. Students were tasked to be Here...Everyday...Ready...On time and we had some great results! SYLVAN HILLS JUNIOR HIGH had 3/4 weeks with 95% or higher attendance, with 1 week at 94%.
