Our 3rd-5th grade students are taking the mandatory state test called the ATLAS test on Tues., Wed., & Thurs., April 16-18. Students must be at school on time and remain at school. We cannot do any makeup tests if students start the test so please be mindful of any checkouts. These are state requirements and not PCSSD or CSES. We need your help and assistance for this to be successful and for our students to show how much they have learned this year! If your student has an appointment on these 3 days, please email aevans1490@pcssd.org so we can work out a solution. Thank you! Also, remember our testing incentive for 3-5. Students will be eligible to attend an AR Travelers baseball game, on April 30, if they are at school for each test day, work hard, use time wisely, don't distract others, and have their Chromebooks charged and ready.

We're partnering with Pulaski County Government to help improve broadband access across the state. Join the speed test challenge and submit your results to AR Connect. These results will be used to help identify areas to improve access to all Arkansans! https://tinyurl.com/y5942e5r

PCSSD is currently experiencing an internet outage that covers almost every school in the District. One of the main fiber lines was cut and caused the outage. AT&T has been notified and will fix the issue. However, we do not have an estimated duration for the outage other than that it will be "an extensive repair." We appreciate your patience.

We're launching a new tool for communication! What better way to stay updated with the latest information from PCSSD than with your very own pager. Clip it to your belt and you'll be walking in style AND the latest from PCSSD.

Happy Easter! This Christian cultural holiday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Easter is based on a lunar month which is why the date varies each year. Easter Sunday always occurs on the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon. #pcssdproud #serveall

It's National Crayon Day! Opening up a box of crayons opens up a world of imagination and hours of fun. Wax and chalk-based crayons have been used by artists around the world for centuries. Who remembers the crayon boxes with built-in sharpeners?
