Good evening Baker families, Tomorrow is Field Day! Please send your student in their Field Day or Baker shirt, athletic bottoms, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen. They may wear a hat and sunglasses. Students should also bring a water bottle and a beach towel. Thank you!

Baker Parents: Please make sure your child brings his/her Chromebook, charger, and bag to school tomorrow (Friday, May 19). Students will not be taking Chromebooks home after this week. If you know your child has lost his/her charger, please send a $20 check payable to Baker Elementary to pay for the charger. Ms. Tate will let you know if you owe for any Chromebook damage.

Challenging our 4th graders at Baker to build their very own arcade games with only a few simple materials, a dash of imagination, and a sprinkle of ingenuity resulted in a whole new dimension of hands-on learning. These enterprising, young engineers shared their inventive masterpieces with peers and parents which provided endless amusement for the spectators at every twist and turn. Great job!

It was definitely not par for the course when Baker’s 3rd grade Alpha students were tasked with the challenge of designing miniature putt-putt golf courses using cardboard, recycled materials, endless imagination, and creativity. Each hole became a work of art carefully crafted and infused with endless possibilities. Students and parents alike navigated through tunnels, ramps, and obstacles discovering a world where students’ visions became reality. Great job!











A few sheets of paper, some tape, and wild imaginations were all the tools 5th grade Alpha students at Baker Elementary utilized to design and construct miniature roller coasters. These unique pieces of art combined physics and engineering to deliver thrill seeking opportunities in the development of their critical thinking and problem solving endeavors. Great job!
