PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Four Pulaski County Special School District students have been recognized by Congressman French Hill for their dedication to education excellence.

Clayton Boothe is a senior at Maumelle High School. He is a National Merit Semi-Finalist and has a 4.3 GPA. He is a member of Arkansas Governor’s School, National Honor Society, Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Maumelle High School band, and the tennis and golf teams.

Eva Casto is a junior at Maumelle High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Maumelle Youth Leader Council, and the golf team. She achieved a perfect score on the ACT as a freshman.

Madison Mobley is a junior at Joe T. Robinson High School. She is a member of the National Forensics League and the National Spanish Honor Society. She was also an Arkansas Governor’s School nominee, co-captain of the varsity cheer team, and an American Heart Association Sweetheart.

Delaney Swinton is a junior at Sylvan Hills High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Studies in African American Culture Club, Student Council, and Arkansas Governor’s School. She has a 4.2 GPA and will be attending the Southern Arkansas Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar this summer.

“I think you have all done an outstanding job,” said Congressman Hill. “I am proud to be one of the big supporters in your corner and look forward to your future success in the years ahead.”

The 2020 Education Award Program honored 36 students from across the 2nd Congressional District. The students were nominated by their teachers, counselors, and principals for their outstanding work in high school.
