Board Meeting minutes: September 11, 2018

This regular meeting of the Pulaski County Special School District was held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in the Board Room of the PCSSD Administrative Building (925 East Dixon Rd.).

In Attendance:  Alicia Gillen, Eli Keller, Mike Kemp, Brian Maune, Linda Remele, Shelby Thomas, Tina Ward

Absent: (None)

    • Dr. Remele called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
  2. Roll Call

    • All members present.

    • Ms. Gillen introduced Maumelle High School Board Guest, Tyler Harrod. Tyler led the Pledge of Allegiance.

    • Ms. Carolyn Polite from the College Station community introduced herself and noted that she will be attending Board Meetings.

      • Baldwin & Shell Project Managers Tom Csicsila, Michael Hansberry, and Joe Landsen gave updates on Sylvan Hills High School, Robinson Middle School, Mills High School, and Mills Middle School.

  10. Comments from the Board

    • Eli Keller gave a report on the Driven Program. Alicia Gillen expressed the Maumelle community's sorrow and loss for the family of Mr. Burton.
  11. Superintendent's Comments

    • Dr. McNulty shared his enthusiasm and excitement for the passion and motivation of the administrators he has worked with at the last two Principals' Meetings. Dr. McNulty also praised the Sportsmanship he has seen at recent sporting events and the work of the Security Dept. at those events.
