Walmart, others partner with Maumelle High to provide defibrillators

A donation of $3,600 from Walmart allowed the Maumelle High booster club to purchase two new defibrillators for the school's athletic programs.

PCSSD and the Maumelle High School booster club would like to thank Walmart, the Maumelle Fire Department and American First Response. Walmart’s $3,600 donation to the booster club allowed the purchase of two portable defibrillators – one for the gymnasium and one for the field house – to help improve player safety at athletic events. On hand to receive the donation were (from left to right): Maumelle High Principal Becky Guthrie; PCSSD Secondary Education Director Dr. John Tackett; Fireman Tyler Castleberry, MFD; MHS Athletic Director Sherman Cox; Walmart Associate Kim Wilkins; Tim Bullard, MFD and Diana Boulton of American First Response.
