Prior to their big win at the state level, the Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School girls and boys track teams won the 5A Central Conference Championships under the leadership of Coach Brian Glass, JC Comet and Coach Duane Clayton.

Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School Economics students placed first out of 213 teams in the 2013 Region 5 Economics Arkansas Spring Stock Market Game. The winning team was honored with a trophy and a luncheon at the Verizon Arena. The students are grateful to Kevin Moseley and 3M for their support in funding the game. Congratulations, Mills on this outstanding accomplishment!
Forty years ago, the class of 1973 at Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School buried a time capsule. In advance of the class high school reunion, class member Dale Nichols set out to find it.
