Teachers, students explain why next week’s benchmark tests are so important

Maumelle Middle School Eighth grade teacher Rachel Blackwell wants her kids to do well on next week’s benchmark tests.

Maumelle students recognized by Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

The following Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students at MAUMELLE MIDDLE and MAUMELLE HIGH SCHOOLS recently participated in FCCLA’s Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events Competition. Many awards were won, with six MMS students and one MHS student advancing all the way to Nationals July at Orlando, Florida!

PCSSD teachers earn National Board Certification

The Pulaski County Special School District is proud to announce that 13 more teachers have earned the highest credential available to American educators by recently becoming a National Board Certified Teacher through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. This brings the total of National Board Certified teachers in the District to 52.
