his year’s summer school classes will be held at Maumelle Middle, Sylvan Hills Middle and Fuller Middle schools. Students may enroll in only one course per session during summer school. Students may earn one credit in summer school. Courses are for credit recovery only.
There will be two sessions available. Session I begins June 5 and ends on June 25. Session II begins June 26 and ends July 17.
Maumelle Middle School has announced the seventh-grade students who have been identified to participate in The Duke University Talent Identification Program. Through the talent search, thousands of seventh-grade students in the United States have been identified based on standardized test scores and invited to take the ACT or SAT alongside college-bound 11th- and 12-grade students.
Maumelle Middle School FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) students brought home both silver and gold awards after competing in the STAR events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) held this week in Conway.
Maumelle Middle School will be having a pre-registration meeting for next year’s seventh- and eighth-grade students on Monday, February 11, at 6 p.m. The incoming sixth-grader students’ pre-registration meeting will be Tuesday, February 12, at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be in the MMS cafeteria.
