Congratulations to PCSSD student athletes

2012 Signing Day included six football players in the Pulaski County Special School District. From SYLVAN HILLS HIGH SCHOOL, Jalen West committed to Arkansas Tech and Tim Findley signed with Arkansas Baptist. MAUMELLE HIGH SCHOOL’s Ryan Eden chose Southern Arkansas to start his college career while Devonte Greene also signed with Arkansas Baptist. Two players from JACKSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, Jacarius Jordan and James Reddick both are going out of state signing with Oklahoma Panhandle State. Congratulations to all these fine young men and good luck with your college playing careers!

Maumelle Hornets win River City Championship

The MAUMELLE HIGH SCHOOL Hornets ninth-grade football team captured the River City Championship by defeating the White Hall Bulldogs 6-0 at White Hall. They finished the season with a 9-1 record and captured the first championship in school history. Way to go, Hornets!
