Nickolas Brooks and Logan Duck, seniors at Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High have been chosen to represent their school and PCSSD in Little Rock Family’s Head of the Class section. These young men have worked hard and have bright futures ahead. You can see the online edition here.
The Arkansas Leadership Academy has announced that Dr. Kirk Freeman, principal of Northwood Middle School has completed the final phase of the Master Principal Institute.
Established in 1991, the Arkansas Leadership Academy is a nationally recognized, statewide partnership of 13 universities, nine professional associations; 15 educational cooperatives, the Arkansas Departments of Education, higher education, the Department of Workforce Education, the Arkansas Educational Television Network, Tyson Foods, Inc; Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and the Walton Family Foundation.
We would like to congratulate Kelly Marie Jenkins, a senior and fourth-year Photography student at Jacksonville High School on being the Arkansas SkillsUSA Gold Medal recipient! Kelly won the award on April 10, 2013 and is now eligible to compete in the national SkillsUSA Conference in Kansas City Missouri this June.
