Scott Elementary uniform policy

All students are required to follow the Pulaski County Special School District’s uniform policy. The Scott Elementary Eagle uniform policy is as follows:

Girls

Shirts or blouses

  • Short or long sleeve, collared or turtleneck shirt in a solid color without a logo
  • Colors: red, white or navy blue

Bottoms

  • Slacks, walking shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers
  • Colors:  Khaki and Navy Blue
  • Length of shorts must be within a dollar bill lengthwise from the middle of the child’s knee
  • Black or brown belts must be worn with bottoms that have belt loops
  • Pants and shorts must be worn waist high (sagging will not be tolerated)

Boys

Shirts

  • Short or long sleeve, collared or turtleneck shirt in a solid color without a logo
  • Colors: red, white or navy blue

Bottoms

  • Belted or elastic waist pants or walking shorts
  • Colors:  Khaki and Navy Blue
  • Length of shorts must be within a dollar bill lengthwise from the middle of the child’s knee
  • Black or brown belts must be worn with bottoms that have belt loops
  • Pants and shorts must be worn waist high (sagging will not be tolerated)

Boys and girls

Coats

  • No visible logo or emblem
  • Coats or jackets will be removed and put in the appropriate place in the classroom during the day

Other

  • All students must have their shirts tucked in at all times
  • Flip-flops, sandals and high heel shoes are not to be worn
  • No open toe shoes

All Pre-K through middle school students in the District will be required to comply with the Uniform Dress Code during school hours. (Board policy)

Students who do not wear the school uniform will borrow the proper attire from the school and a letter informing the parents of the infraction will be sent home to be signed and returned to the school the following day. Continued infractions will result in a parent/student/administrator conference. If the situation is not rectified, Saturday School or in-school suspension may be assigned.
