Coach Bratcher crowned Robinson High’s Biggest Loser

The final tally is in and the winner of Joe T. Robinson High’s “The Biggest Loser” contest is RHS Assistant Football Coach Brady Bratcher. Coach Bratcher lost 34.4 pounds and dropped his body weight percentage by 12.4%!

Jacksonville principal fully vested in school’s success

JACKSONVILLE — To really understand Henry Anderson, walk the halls with him between classes.

At a looming 6-feet, 5-inches, Anderson is impossible to miss, and students don’t hesitate to shout greetings and playful jabs the minute he makes his way out of his office.

Anderson tries to be among the students between every class and before and after school, a routine he’s been following since he first took over as principal in 2011. As a principal, he manages to smoothly ebb from structured leader to relatable caregiver and back again.

Register now for 2013 summer school classes

his year’s summer school classes will be held at Maumelle Middle, Sylvan Hills Middle and Fuller Middle schools. Students may enroll in only one course per session during summer school. Students may earn one credit in summer school. Courses are for credit recovery only.

There will be two sessions available. Session I begins June 5 and ends on June 25. Session II begins June 26 and ends July 17.
