CHB: Board Review of Regulations

The Board will approve regulations when approval is required by law or when the Superintendent recommends Board action. The Board reserves the right to review all administrative regulations and procedures, but it will revise them only when, in the Board’s judgment, they are inconsistent with policies and regulations set by the Board.

Before issuance, regulations will be properly titled and coded in conformance with the policy classification system selected by the Board. Those officially approved by the Board will be so marked; others appearing in the Board’s Policies Manual will be considered approved provided they are in harmony with the accompanying Board policy.
