Congratulations to Floyd Pugh (junior), Anthony Blakely (senior), Michael McGruder (junior) and Justin Bullard (sophomore) of the MILLS HIGH boys track and field team!

Under the direction of Head Coach Brian Glass, the 4 x 100 meter relay team went undefeated this season. At the Lakeside high track meet, the team turned in a very impressive time of 41.97 seconds. They continued to impress by consistently running sub-42 second races all season long.
Along the way, they became 5A Southeast Conference Champs with a time of 41.85, and 5A State Champs with a time of 41.79. Their final achievement was winning the Meet of Champs, where they laid down an amazing time of 41.58 seconds beating the best teams from every division in the state!

Also bringing home the gold for Mills High was Hallan Barnes (senior). Hallan was the 5A Conference Champ in both the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. His best time in the 110 Meter hurdles was a staggering 15.77 seconds.
Coach Glass would like to give a special thanks to Coach Dewayne Clayton, Coach J.C. Comet and Coach Pat Russell for all of their hard work this season.
