Mills High celebrates senior scholars

Similar to an athletic signing, MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES HIGH hosted a scholarship signing ceremony this morning to acknowledge every senior scholar who has received one or more scholarship letters. To date, this year’s senior scholars have received offers totaling over $16 million, with one student receiving $1.2 million alone and another receiving one-half million dollars. Each of these stellar students signed an official ledger and, as a group was presented with an oversized check.

The Mills University Studies Scholars Program is an accelerated program for gifted students – the only talented and gifted public high school in Central Arkansas and one that touts the highest passage rate on AP exams. With AP testing beginning on Monday, May 7, it was the perfect opportunity to bestow these hard-working students with a ceremony on their behalf and recognize the rewards of being a student in the Mills Scholars Program!
