The Jacksonville High School Juke Box Band recently competed in the Carroll High School Battle of the Bands in Monroe, La, where they stole the show and brought home the Grand Champion Band trophy with an overall score of 98.9 points. The Juke Box earned this honor by placing first in the Flag Lineand Drum Major categories, receiving a superior rating for Feature Twirler and a superior rating for Band. PCSSD and Jacksonville High School congratulate the Juke Box Family for earning superior marks!
The Juke Box Band is now preparing to march in the Bayou Classic Thanksgiving Day Parade in New Orleans. They are the only Arkansas band that was invited to march and perform during the Bayou Classic events, representing the school, the district and the state!
