Daisy Bates Elementary 2013 supply list

Please label everything for all grades. Individual teachers may request additional items. No rolling backpacks allowed.

Pre-Kindergarten

All pre-K supplies are provided.
Donations of paper towels, baby wipes, Kleenex, band aids, zip lock bags and cleaning sprays such as 409, Lysol, etc. are always welcome.

Kindergarten

4 boxes Crayola crayons (24 count)
4 bottles of glue
4 glue sticks
1 blunt-edge scissors
1 box of Crayola markers
1 box gallon or quart zip-lock bags

1 package of dry erase markers

First Grade

Second Grade

Fifth Grade

Art Supply List

Kindergarten 1 large refill baby wipes, 4 glue sticks
1st Grade Scissors, 2 fine point black sharpies
2nd Grade Glue or Glitter gel, 2 fine point black sharpie
3rd Grade Fluorescent or Bright Crayola Markers & 2 fine point black sharpies
4th Grade Glue or Glitter gel, 2 fine point black sharpies

School Uniform/Dress Code

Shirts any solid color, must have a collar, no logos, no t-shirts
Bottoms Navy or Khaki, Uniform style walking shorts, pants, jumpers, skirts or skorts for girls. Uniform style walking shorts, pants for boys.
Shoes Any color. Students are required to wear enclosed shoes and socks daily. No sandals or open shoes.
Belts should be worn with all outfits that have belt loops. Elastic waist clothing is acceptable.
Coats or jackets will be removed and put in the appropriate place in the classroom during the day.
No Visible logos on any articles of clothing are allowed.
