Pulaski County Special School District

Little Rock, AR – New and returning students planning to attend school in the Pulaski County Special School District for the 2013-2014 school year must register during specific times and locations throughout March and April.

Specific times and dates are listed below and are available on the district’s website at www.pcssd.org.

According to Dr. Brenda Bowles, Assistant Superintendent for the Office of Equity and Pupil Services, parents and guardians of all students will check-in/register at the school they will attend, with the exception of fifth-grade students who may check-in at their elementary school.

Bowles encouraged parents or guardians to take necessary documentation when registering their students.

For returning students, a current proof of residency must be provided, which includes a current utility bill, a Little Rock Air Force Base housing verification form, home purchase closing papers or lease agreements.

To register a new student parents or guardians need to bring the following proper identification: birth certificate or a registrar statement, baptismal certificate, passport, affidavit, military identification, previous school records, immunization records, transcript or last report card or social security card. Proof of residency must also be provided.
