Purpose to promote student safety, minimize disruptions, identify trespassers on campuses, and promote improvement in student behavior and academic achievement. School uniforms should reflect school community standards and be consistent with occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation.
General Guidelines
- No Writing on any clothing item
- No athletic company names, designs, patterns, logos, or insignias (except school logo)
- No clothing considered too revealing, too tight, or allowing undergarments to show
- All students must wear a brown or black belt with all outfits having belt loops
Tops
- Short or long sleeved, solid colored, collared shirts or turtlenecks
- Tops may be worn tucked in or out
- Schools will select a minimum of four (4) colors
Pants and shorts
- All pants/shorts must be khaki, navy and school’s choice of another color
- Pants/shorts with belt loops will be belted
Shirts, skirts and jumpers
- All skirts, skorts, jumpers must be khaki or navy
- The school may select a third color
Jackets and outerwear
- All jackets and outerwear (sweatshirts and sweaters) must be plain. No writing, designs, patterns, team names, etc., except school logo
Accessories
- Do not wear jewelry/accessories that constitute a safety hazard, for example: heavy chains, studded apparel or huge hoop earrings
- All hats, caps, visors, and scarves may be worn outdoors only
- The type and color of shoes and socks is left to the individual student and his/her parent guardians, with the exception of house shoes and flip flops, to ensure student safety
