Bates Elementary Jumpers take jumping rope to the next level

The Daisy Bates Jumpers are still going strong since the jump-rope team was formed six years ago under the direction of Courtney Cancienne (aka Coach C), Jump Rope Team Coach and Physical Education Teacher at BATES ELEMENTARY.

Coach C and her team not only perform at different events throughout the year (most recently at half-time of a UALR Men’s Basketball game and in the Little Rock Holiday Parade), but they spend a lot of time visiting other schools in the state to inspire and encourage them to start a jump rope team.
