UPDATE: District officials, National Weather Service partnering on inclement weather situation

After reviewing weather and road conditions PCSSD administrators, transportation team members and weather forecasters have concluded that roads in the county are safe and passable. All PCSSD schools will open at their regularly-scheduled times.

As of 11 a.m. today, the District is aware of a wintery-mix in several areas of the county. Our teams are in touch with the National Weather Service, who advise that this is a minor weather event and will is not expected to remain or cause issues for our buses this afternoon. Therefore, as of this time, we are planning dismissal as normal.

There is more of a concern for tomorrow morning, and we will continue to monitor and update you as we progress. Thank you!
