The Pulaski County Special School District is pleased to announce the opening of the APT Center (Assisting People in Transition). The APT Center provides specialized intervention and treatment services that promote health, emotional and social wellness for students and their families.
The center is located at the PCSSD Learning Academy, 708 East Dixon Rd., Little Rock, AR 72206.
School Counselors, Home School Counselors and Nurses will make referrals to the Homeless Liaison or the Facilitator of Health Services.
Our Mission
The Assisting People in Transition Center’s (The APT Center) mission is to provide the opportunity to transform lives by empowering people at risk to achieve healthy and self-sufficient living.

- After School Tutoring
- Mentoring
- Medical, Social, Psychological, and other Health Services
- Computer Lab
- Parent Center
- Food for Kids (Rice Depot)
