Two PCSSD staffers recognized for heroism

In recognition of their actions during a dangerous situation last month, two PCSSD employees were presented with the Superintendent's Hero Award by PCSSD's Superintendent, Dr. Jerry Guess.

Bus driver Janice Mosby and security officer Dwight Davis, both of Daisy Bates Elementary School, were confronted with a potentially dangerous situation and did everything necessary to protect our students while police were summoned to resolve the matter.

We appreciate the devotion of our staff and their willingness to go above and beyond to make our schools a safe place for all of our students.
