The Pulaski County Special School District has adopted a mandatory uniform policy for all students’ kindergarten though middle school (optional for
pre-kindergarten). The following guidelines have been adopted for Clinton Elementary.
Pants, skirts, shorts, skorts and jumpers
- Solid navy or khaki
- Straight legged or cuffed.
- All skirts, shorts, skorts and jumpers are to be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
- All pants are to be appropriately sized to eliminate bagging or sagging.
- Cargo pockets are prohibited.
Shirts, blouses or turtlenecks
- Solid white, navy, red or light blue
- Long or short sleeve with collar (polo style), button down or turtleneck.It is preferred that shirts be tucked with belt in place.
Sweaters or sweatshirts
- Solid white, navy, red or light blue
- Cardigan or pullover –long sleeve or sleeveless if worn with a shirt.
Belts
- Solid black or brown
- Belts must be worn with any item of clothing that has belt loops—pants, skirts, shorts, or skorts.
Shoes and socks
- Any color (NOTE: Preferably no open-toe shoes)
Coats or jackets
- Any color
- Personal choice
- Coats will be removed and put in the appropriate place in the classroom during the day
NO VISIBLE LABELS ON ANY ARTICLES OF CLOTHING.
