Clinton Elementary uniform policy

The Pulaski County Special School District has adopted a mandatory uniform policy for all students’ kindergarten though middle school (optional for
pre-kindergarten). The following guidelines have been adopted for Clinton Elementary.

Pants, skirts, shorts, skorts and jumpers

  • Solid navy or khaki
  • Straight legged or cuffed.
  • All skirts, shorts, skorts and jumpers are to be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
  • All pants are to be appropriately sized to eliminate bagging or sagging.
  • Cargo pockets are prohibited.

Shirts, blouses or turtlenecks

  • Solid white, navy, red or light blue
  • Long or short sleeve with collar (polo style), button down or turtleneck.It is preferred that shirts be tucked with belt in place.

Sweaters or sweatshirts

  • Solid white, navy, red or light blue
  • Cardigan or pullover –long sleeve or sleeveless if worn with a shirt.

 

Belts

  • Solid black or brown
  • Belts must be worn with any item of clothing that has belt loops—pants, skirts, shorts, or skorts.

Shoes and socks

  • Any color (NOTE: Preferably no open-toe shoes)

Coats or jackets

  • Any color
  • Personal choice
  • Coats will be removed and put in the appropriate place in the classroom during the day

NO VISIBLE LABELS ON ANY ARTICLES OF CLOTHING.
