Important message to PCSSD teachers from Dr. Jerry Guess, superintendent, and Anita Farver, CFO

For the 2011-2012 school year, the following teachers may purchase instructional teaching supplies with a district purchase order:

  • PreK-6 teachers are allocated $500 for instructional teaching supplies; and
  • Secondary classroom teachers receive an instructional allocation from their building administrator after the eighth-day student count.

Teachers will be able to purchase instructional supplies at the vender of their choice only with a district purchase order, which they must acquire in advance. The District has established procurement procedures for efficiency and accountability reasons, therefore, the option of charging supplies at local vendors is no longer available.

Please contact your school bookkeeper to obtain your purchase order and for additional information.

Thank you, and have a great year.
