Central Arkansas students out for summer

Today is the last day of school for most Central Arkansas Schools, and the Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) is reminding drivers to be on the lookout for students who may be biking, walking or skateboarding near roadways.

PCSSD granted exemption from School Choice Act

Act 1227, also called the Arkansas Public School Choice Act of 2013, repealed the Public School Choice Act of 1989 and incorporated a new system of public school choice in Arkansas. Act 1227 of 2013 went into effect April 16, 2013, and permits students to apply to attend school in a non-resident school district.
