PCSSD will provide access to the district's web server for Central Office
departments and schools wishing to host websites.
Don Pierson is the Web Services Administrator. All requests should be
made to the Web Services Department by addressing your email to webmaster@pcssd.org.
Departments
Departments in PCSSD may put as many pages on the district web server
as desired , but they will be expected to have one person from the department
responsible for updating and maintaining the page(s). This person will
be the Department Webmaster.
Schools
Schools may create as many pages as they want. The total size of all
files in a school's directory must be less than 25 megabytes. Each school
will be expected to have one person assigned to handle all updating and
maintenance of the page(s). This person will be the School Webmaster and
the ONLY authorized person able to modify the school's page(s). Departments
within the schools must contact the School Webmaster about hosting pages.
PCSSD has implemented a new webserver.
All FTP access has been temporarily discontinued. Please submit a new
request for space with an updated signature from your principal or central
office department head. A new username and password will be created and
sent to approved web administrators usually within one day. A new request
form will need to be submitted before each school year.
Please print the Web
Site Request Form and have it signed by your principal. Fax
the form to Don Pierson at 490-1274 and you will be provided with a login
name and password. Contact Don Pierson at 490-6299 for procedures on posting
your web content.
